President Barack Obama
Washington, USA

Sir:

What does it take to make you understand that the Iraqis don’t like you and don’t want you? An atomic bomb in the London subway?

The right plan for Iraq is simple: announce now that the foreign forces will stay to supervise the election in January and leave Iraq by April 30, 2005.

No occupying power has ever won the hearts and minds of the occupied, is it so difficult to understand? OK, there is the oil thing, but even that does not make sense, except for a few speculators.

Sincerely yours,

Carlo Testa
